SiteExposer Privacy Policy

Our Policy Statement

We do not pass information about our users, clients or partners to any external organisation - commercial or otherwise.

What Personal Information Do We Collect About Our Users and Why?

All registered users, clients and partners must submit a valid e-mail address, their name and their postal address. Optionally, they can submit phone and fax numbers. All customers must submit a method of identification (usually a credit card number). These details are used solely for the purpose of administering the services requested. Each user can view and edit ALL information that we have stored simply by visiting their account page.

What information do we collect about site users' activity and why?

We maintain no specific user activity logs beyond the standard web server logs. We analyze these logs to improve site layouts and services offered. We use cookies to allow users to "login" to their accounts but no personal details are retrieved via or stored in cookies.

Compliance with privacy legislation

We fully comply with the requirements and adhere to the principles of the Safe Harbor Privacy Framework set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. We also directly comply with the European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection (as a registered data controller under the Data Protection Act). We endeavor to adopt best security practices for data storage and data processing.

Beware Long Privacy Statements

We think it is pretty obvious to everyone that the sites with the longest privacy statements are the ones with the most to hide. How many pages does it take to say "We do not pass information about our users to any one else"?
